- Physical properties: Pink amethyst is a recently discovered variant of the common purple amethyst. Whereas the purple variety is found in many places throughout the world, this lovely pink version hails from Patagonia, Argentina and is currently the sole source of it. It is pink because of hematite within the crystal structure (purple amethyst has iron within the crystal structure).
- Metaphysical properties: Pink amethyst primarily connects through the heart and crown chakras. That’ll make it an excellent way to promote love, inner peace, and joy in your life, as well as maintain balance by promoting spiritual connectedness. That is to say, pink amethyst can be an extremely balancing stone, as it promotes both groundedness but also the ability to fully give yourself to love.
