Engineered to make the sock wide in the foot, ankle and the leg and still stay up
For those with wider feet/swollen ankles who are tired of squeezing into tight, uncomfortable socks, Extra Wide Medical Socks are for you. Our socks are unique because they stretch wider in the Foot, ankle and leg. The calf has a stretch up to 25 inches. They go on easy and stay up, while not cutting off circulation. They have an inverted toe seam (seam on the outside of sock) for a seam-free feel. For people with Diabetes the toe seam is designed to be on the outside of the sock. The sock will slip easily over casts and Unna boots for added protection. The socks are especially designed to stay up on any size leg. They are unisex and made for both men and women.
This Medical Sock comes in 4 colors in the Crew Sock; White, Black, Navy, and Tan, and 2 colors in the Quarter Sock; White and Black. The labels are color coded. The Blue Label (Style #4850 series) fits Women’s Shoe Sizes 6.5 – 9.5 and Men’s Shoe Sizes 8-11 up to 6E. The Gray Label (Style #5850 series) fits Women’s Shoe Sizes 10 – 13 and Men’s Shoe Sizes 8.5 – 11.5 up to 6E. The Green Label (Style #6950 series) fits Women’s Shoe Sizes 13.5 + and Men’s Shoe Sizes 12 – 16 up to 6E. Please refer to our size chart for purchasing the correct size. Extra Wide Medical Socks come in 2 variations. Extra Wide Medical Quarter (Anklet), and Extra Wide Medical Crew (slightly below mid-calf). This sock is a thicker athletic sock weight material, and has Microban antimicrobial technology which helps to prevent the growth of odor causing bacteria. The socks come in a pre-pack of 3 pairs. Proudly made in the USA of 91% Cotton, 7% Nylon, 2% Spandex. Machine wash warm with like colors. Use non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry low heat.
