Botticino tumbled marble – Botticino is a marble that is originally from Italy, it is a hard natural stone with strong structural properties. Botticino stones look great mixed with other colored stones and is one of the preferred marble to be used by interior decorators.
Ceramic – We guess you can this one old faithful. Ceramic tiles are a popular, making them a great choose for any design project. Ceramic tiles have excellent durability and water resistance, as well as being very affordable (which is key if you’re on a tight budget for you project).
Chiaro – A natural earthy stone that has gone through a tumbling process to give it a disturbed look. Each stone is compley different from the next giving any image that is printed on it a look that you know only you will have. Images sublimated on this take on the life of the stone and get a natural rustic aged look.
Marble – Pure, lavish, and elegant are the words that come to mind when looking at this stone. Marble has been the material of choice for designers, artists, architects all through history. Our marble is cut to have a flush look with no dips around the edges. Normally marble requires a great amount of care and maintenance to keep it from staining, but our marble is coated with our own polymer blend before sublimation insuring that you won’t have to worry at all.
Milos – This is a very unique stone, naturally light in color allowing for great color exposure for the images that are sublimated onto this stone. Where the really interesting factor comes into play is when you look closely at the stone itself, you will see small sparkly flakes covering the surface.
Rialto – This is a very popular porcelain tile used by many in design and architecture projects. It has a non uniform look so every tile is a little different in pattern and abrasion from the next. Murals created from this tile look great with other natural earthy tiles and various tumbled marbles.
Travertine – Travertine in a natural Italian limestone, it is a great stone to use in any modern kitchen to give it a bit of old county flavor. Like many of our tiles can be made with a glossy, matte, or satin finish. Our travertine is naturally of a lighter tint allowing for an image of a lot of color to shine through (so there is no need to worry). Travertine is great durable stone to use in any design project.
Questions about the product
Q: Are the tiles hand painted? A: No they are not. We use a sublimation process to create the images on each tile which results in them lasting longer and looking shaper and clearer
Q: How durable is the tile on a back splash, and how long does it last in water, and in sunlight (outdoors)? A: All our products hold its color and shine for hot pan, backsplash, and bath for more than seven years. It works fine without additional coating. You could also use it outside, but not direct sunlight.
Q: Can these tiles be used outdoors? A: No, outdoor levels of UV rays will damage the tiles over time.
Q: What is the difference between tumble marble, ceramic tile, and rialto tile? A: Tumble marble looks like damaged and aged tile, ceramic tile is a very clean looking tile like the once commonly found in bathrooms, and rialto is ceramic tile that looks like tumble marble.
Q: What is the difference in durability between ceramic tiles, tumble marble and rialto tile? A: There is very little difference in durability on each tile but experts say that ceramic is the least durable, followed by tumble marble, with rialto being the strongest.
Q: How durable are the murals if they are installed on the floor? A: The tiles themselves will hold up but the images will get worn off over time from being walked on. The time depends on how often they are walked over.
Q: Do you make frames/boarders and accent tiles? A: Yes, we can print any color or pattern onto the tile of your chose.
Q: Is it possible for me to see the quality of the tiles before ordering? A: Yes. You are welcome to order a sample tile from any of our murals
Q: If we want to cut the tile will it ruin the surface and coating? A: No, our murals can be cut in the same way that any other tile can. The coating and surface will not be harmed in any way.
