   Our company began with a quest to find upbeat eyewear, and that light-hearted spirit is embedded in everything we do. Our family’s legacy is dedicated to the pursuit of fashion at its most fun.

   We have come a long way from our start as an importer and distributor of scissors, shears, and fine cutlery.

   Sammann Company Inc. was first established in 1908 and founded the Peepers Brand in 1993 when Mrs. Sammann, a.k.a. Mz. Peepers recognized a need for fashionable readers and began designing the fun looks that started Peepers.

   Today that same passion has carried on as we continue to create stylish, optical quality reading and sunglasses.

   Peepers Fun Fact –

   Our eyewear has been featured seven times as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things!

4. Steps Toward A Brighter Future –

   Investing in generations to come is important to us. We hope to continue to make an impact by giving back to our communities through local volunteer work and community outreach initiatives like our Peepers for Teachers Program.

   Designing With Intention & Sustainability –

   We see the beauty and importance in natural, sustainable materials and challenge ourselves to integrate them into our collections each season.

   We are also proud to utilize solar power as our main source of energy at our headquarters.
